“a work of art”

Ang-Hilado

June 07, 2008. It was raining very hard a night before but nobody can dampen the spirit of the bride and groom, Peter Ang and Janice Hilado on their much-awaited wedding.

It was a wedding indeed of unique style, a wedding done in simple elegance yet very special, the kind of work of FLOWERWORX.

Janice, in the morning of her wedding was as radiant and stunning as her bouquet of red equadorian roses with million stars sprinkled with gold dust made by my good friend-florist, ramona, in manila and airfreight on the day of the wedding.

Peter complemented the bride as the always “cool groom” while inspecting every detail of the wedding preparation from the reception to the ceremony venue to the hotel accommodation. He is the deligent manager that’s why he has successfully run his own seafood restaurant, AHFAT II at victoria plaza compound in davao city.

The ceremony venue, the Philippine Independent Church, in Torres Street heavenly in white roses, green mums, white mums flower decoration dominated the aisle arrangement. While light shade of pink and yellow roses mixed with gerbera and lerio complemented the altar floral decorations. Drapes, drapes, and drapes in ecru all-over to provide effect of a pure and heavenly ambiance. The red carpet added elegance as entourage walked their way to the altar.

The reception at Garden Oases Grand Convention Center was also amazing. Two centerpiece flower arrangements were made in each guest table, one, low arrangement of roses, gerbera, and calla lily and two, low arrangement of roses, hydrangea, lerio with glass vase accentuated with votive candles. Flowers came all the way from Buda (Bukidnon-Davao) at the border of Davao City

400 guests in attendance and each one enjoyed the food catered by the groom’s restaurant AHFAT. It was a  beautiful night, an intimate celebration, and a awesome way of culminating a long relationship of Peter and Janice which started during their high school days at Davao Christian, and on at University of the Philippines.

Peter and Janice, a union truly made in heaven. Flowerworx made it doubly heavenly, truly a work of art…
